verizon disables paypal on samsung galaxy s5

Verizon has disabled the PayPal feature on its version of the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S5, without giving any proper explanation or warning. It is still unclear that why the cellular company has taken such step. The Galaxy S5 is the latest flagship smartphone of tech giant Samsung and is equipped with a range of high-end specifications and features.Chocolates, cards and perfumes seem to be a thing of the past. Today, gadgets and the latest smart phones will do the trick when it comes to V day gifts.

The smartphone also boasts the much-touted fingerprint scanning technology on its latest device. The fingerprint scanner technology enables users to make payments via PayPal through the smartphone, making shopping secure and hassle free. PayPal recently announced that it would support this feature in 25 different markets, but Verizon is apparently not too excited with this option.

PayPal was recently quoted saying that “The day has finally come when Samsung Galaxy S5 users in 25 countries can ditch their usernames and passwords and simply login to PayPal with their fingerprint to shop at the millions of businesses that accept PayPal on mobile web sites, mobile apps and in stores.”

The PayPal is working perfectly on all major U.S. carriers, which makes it even more shocking that why Verizon disabled the feature without any warning or explanation.

We will update you once we receive any official explanation from the carrier.
